Dr. Henry “Skip” Francis, M.D., Director for Data Mining and Informatics Evaluation and Research, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

From March 11, 2013 to the present, Dr. Francis is the Director of the Data mining and Informatics Evaluation andResearch Group in the Office of Translational Sciences, CDER, FDA.  In that capacity he directsa trans-disciplinary group of senior sciences to test, create and operate data analysis program facilitating the efficient use of scientific methods to evaluate complex data information in order to make regulatory decisions for drug approval and drug safety.

 

 

Marina Fox, Office of Government-Wide Policy, GSA

20+ years of experience in business analytics, web performance and analysis, business intelligence and enterprise reporting, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and Big Data. Prior to joining General Services Administration to lead a gov-wide Digital Analytics Program (DAP) and now the DotGov Domain services, had served in various analytical and leadership roles at Deloitte, AOL, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Dow Jones & Co. Wall Street Journal Online.  

 

 

Kevin McTigue, Program Director, IDEA Lab/Ignite Accelerator (HHS)

Kevin McTigue is a professional strategy consultant at the HHS Office of the Chief Technology Officer. Kevin is currently the Director for the HHS IDEA Lab at HHS encompassing a range of innovative programming including; the national flagship corporate innovation program for the United States Department of Health and Human Services encompasses a staff of 79,000 professionals.

The Division of Acquisition provides Department-wide leadership for acquisition functions at HHS to include the administration; management; oversight for policies, programs, workforce development; and business systems required to assure the delivery of transparent best value acquisition solutions. Jose is newly appointed to this position having served most recently as Director of IT 70 Schedule Operations at GSA

"Andrew Vanjani is currently Acting Director of IT leading the technical modernization of the Integrated Award Environment (IAE) systems at GSA. He is also GSA's Blockchain POC and works closely with the Citizens Emerging Technology division within GSA on Blockchain initiatives."

 

 

Justin Herman, Emerging Citizen Technology Lead, GSA.

Justin leads the Emerging Citizen Technology program office for GSA's Technology Transformation Services, including Artificial Intelligence for Citizen Services, Blockchain, Virtual/Augmented Reality, and Social Tech. These programs unite federal managers to improve the creation, efficient adoption and performance evaluation of emerging programs.

Aleksandar ZelenovicAleksandar Zelenovic, Strategy and Consulting Lead, Sapient

As a Strategy and Consulting Lead in Sapient Consulting Public Sector, Aleksandar focuses on creating long-lasting solutions at the intersection of technology, innovation and business. He has 20+ years supporting domestic and overseas clients from Fortune 500 companies (IT, financial, manufacturing, utilities, media) to the government. His approach to leadership generates results by focusing on end-customer value, rapid prototyping and organizational learning. Aleksandar is an expert in business and digital strategy, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, DevOps/Agile, transformation, modernization, advanced analytics and organizational design. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan where he received the prestigious Seley Scholars Award. He has lead one of the first Blockchain implementations in the U.S. Federal government history.
