Rockville, MD – On Friday, March 31th, 2017, business, government, and public safety leaders will thank the brave men and women who protect our community every day. The 43rd Annual MCCC Public Safety Awards is the largest event in the region of its kind and is a unique opportunity to celebrate bravery and hear incredible stories of valor. This year’s award recipients include:

  • 21 Valor Award Recipients for 8 incidents, 3 Unit Citations and 1 MCCC Public Safety Community Service Awards
  • Public Safety Government Partner of the Year: United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland
  • Public Safety Corporate Vital Link:  The member companies of the Coalition of Ignition Interlock Manufacturers — Intoxalock, LifeSaver and Smart Start.
  • Public Safety Champion of the Year: Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
