2010 NIST/MCCC Industry Day

Thank you for making the 2010 NIST/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Industry Day a great success!

Member of NIST Acquisition Management Division reviews upcoming procurement opportunities to over 500 businesses March 2, 2010.

The first-ever NIST Industry Day, sponsored by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and its GovConNet program, gave more than 500 local businesses valuable insights on how to successfully do business with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The event, held at NIST headquarters on March 2, featured NIST Director Patrick Gallagher and representatives of the Acquisition Management Division who spoke to NIST's mission, procurement strategies and priorities. After the presentations and Q&A, most participants lined up and met face-to-face with the presenters who stayed well after the program ended.
